Cielo Vista is located in Greenfield California, in the heart of the California's Salinas Valley. Greenfield is approximately 135 miles south of San Francisco, 95 south of San Jose, and 60 miles north of  Paso Robles.   Greenfield is a thriving, attractive, people-oriented community centered in a rural, agricultural atmosphere.

As an alternative to existing transitional residential programs, Cielo Vista was developed to address one of the most difficult problems faced by families of the mentally distressed. Currently many individuals released from facilities offering very high levels of care go home with their families to situations with almost no community support.  Needless to say, families are often overwhelmed and the progress the client made “inside” is lost.

Cielo Vista is designed to help successfully transition clients back into the community. The structure and services provided by Cielo Vista encompass a level of care and achievement at $60 per day that is not currently duplicated elsewhere in the California mental health care system.
