Speaking to NAMI's 2011 theme Creating Change Through Vision and Action, Psynergy's "action" has been to collaborate and team up with NAMI Santa Clara County to respond to an RFP issued by Santa Clara Coiunty Mental Health Dept. about Post Crisis Mental Health Intervention with Law Enforcement. Through this process, a "Logic Model" was created which outlines the problems, models facilitating and responding to the problems, and the outcomes. We hope that more NAMI affiliates become proactive in contracting directly with counties to do what they do best, which is work with family members.

Psynergy Presents Workshop at 2011 NAMI Conference
Using Logical Models to Initiate Action and Sustain Change is the title of the workshop Psynergy will present on August 19, 2011 from 4:00 - 5:30 PM at the NAMI conference in Sacramento at the Double Tree Hotel. This is the third year in a row that Psynergy has been a presenter at NAMI.
